What is your Taproom like?

Our customers tell us that our Taproom, is comfortable and inviting, that the space is cool and the atmosphere is friendly. The building has an Industrial vibe as it was originally built as a part of Easton’s Historical Shovel Manufacturing operations and later housed other manufacturing businesses.  We have 2 rooms, one that we refer to as the Taproom and the other as the Biergarten Room.  We have communal tables that fill on a first come first served basis.

Our servers provide full table service for our food and drinks, so you don’t have to go to the bar to get served. Check out our Gallery for pictures of the Brewery

Is your Taproom the only place to get your Beer?

While we highly encourage you to come to the Taproom to taste our beers, sample our food and interact with our great staff, our beer is available at bars, restaurants and Liquor Stores in Eastern Massachusetts. We also have a distributor that helps get our Beer to places that we can’t reach ourselves. Check out our Beer Finder to find locations that carry Shovel Town Beer. Are you pet friendly?

Sorry, we are not pet friendly at this time. However, please stay tuned to our social media or sign up for our weekly newsletter to find out about events that we do have from time to time that are pet friendly.

Do you have Events, Entertainment or Live Music?

Under normal circumstances, we pride ourselves on providing a rich and broad selection of Events, Entertainment and Live Music. While we have running and Biking Clubs, Yoga and Exercise in the Taproom, Open Mic Nights every Thursday, Trivia on Friday’s, and Live Music on Saturday’s we also do several special events that people love. Some of these events have been
impacted by the current pandemic situation.

Is your Taproom the only place to get your Beer?

What is your growler policy?

We sell Shovel Town Growlers that we can fill and refill with whatever we have on Tap. In addition and in accordance with MA General Law and recent advisory from the ABCC, Breweries are only allowed to fill up to a 64 oz Growler that is devoid of any other Breweries markings. We will fill Growlers that conform to these requirements but we will affix a removable Shovel Town Brewery Label to the Growler at time of filling. Come by during any of our regular hours to pick up a Growler or to get your compliant growler filled!

How do you sell your beer?

We usually have 12 different delicious Beers on Tap at any one time. In the full-service Taproom, we offer full pours and flights. To go, we offer 32 and 64 oz Growlers, 4 packs of Cans and special release bottles. Check out our latest Beer Selection

Do you serve food?

Yes, we serve a variety of unique offerings, many featuring locally sourced ingredients including our signature Flatbreads and Beer inspired sandwiches, small plates and specials.  We also offer weekly specials that are based on availability of local items.

Are you family friendly?

Yes, we welcome all families. We love to see families come on by to check out our brewery! However, for the safety of kids and visitors all children must be supervised while in the taproom.

Can we reserve space for a Private Party?

For events/functions we can accommodate whatever size group you have up to approximately 80 on days/times that we are not open to the public or before/after our normal business hours.

Please contact us to discuss holding a party during a time on days that we are not open to the public.

We do not charge a room fee but require a minimum spend on beverages plus 18% gratuity guarantee to pay the server(s).

Do you offer cider or gluten-free beers?

We don’t offer Cider or Gluten Free Beer but we have recently introduced Shovel Bubble, our own Hard Seltzer crafted by our talented Brewing Team! Shovel Bubble is our take on this new popular style – this crisp hard seltzer is gluten free and low calorie!

Can I buy a keg from you?

Yes, please call the Brewery at 508-205-7151 and place your order. While we may have some in stock it’s best to order a week in advance.

Do you have merchandise available?

We do have a full selection of Tee’s, Sweatshirts, Hats and other wearable’s as well as glassware and other items. You can check out and order our merchandise on-line.

Do you sell Gift Cards?

Yes, you can purchase Gift Cards On-Line or stop by the Taproom to purchase gift cards and other offerings! Let me know if you have any questions.
